RP-INTRO
Welcome to the world of role playing, the use of the imagination to create
a fictional world and have "adventures". Some people are very experienced
role players, having experience in "Advance Dungeons and Dragons" and other
RPGs. Waterdeep has its own special world. Waterdeep is not the name of the
world you are in, the world you live in is known as "The Great Realms", a
continent in the southeast hemisphere of the world Toril, better known as The
Forgotten Realms. The Great Realms is unique because a curse placed on the
continent had forbidden any of its inhabits to reach the actual Forgotten
Realms.
New this year The Toril/Forgotten Realms Section of the mud now excists
after four years. A span of the Sword Coast from Waterdeep to Candlekeep
stretches out, with varies areas in between, and more coming. In the future
these areas will be hard to travel to and difficult to get to, but for now
you can reach them by going far east (somewhere around 176e).
The Great Realms is a combination of several factors. The mud originally
opened with a Forgotten Realms / Final Fantasy theme, which drew in both
crowds of players. The Great Realms is based off a bits and pieces of Final
Fantasy 6 and 7, but only small parts. There are airships, makou reactors
and a 5000mm cannon known as "Stalin's Organ". Kefka and Sephiroth, the evil
guys from FF 6 and 7 do excist and have there own governments.
But not to rush, in HELP ROLEPLAY you can find help files connected to
all sorts of related topics, which explains it. Also check out the web
page for a large database of information (Help WWW).

[ The 2001-2002 Role Playing Campaign ]
Nothing has been done to this section, we're still working on the
campaign and preparing, it will happen within a few weeks, and this

RP-WORLD
For every planet that is created, a self destruction sequence is designed
to purge the world of all life and everything on it, so that the elder god
of the planet can attempt again to build a world to his own liking...
[ The Prophecy Part One ]
The continent of the Great Realms is somewhat of a bastard child, used
by a lower elder god known as an Apprentice. Every eon or so an elder
god of a planet will take on a pupil, Ao, elder god of Toril had taken
on many, until...Ao took on what would be known as his final Apprentice,
and he trained to god in the art of elder godhood on the continent of The
Great Realms, not named at that time. This Apprentice soon became consumed
by the powers, and challenged Ao for his throne. They fought on the continent,
and in the end, The Apprentice was killed. The Apprentice in his final minutes
created a curse over the land. He cursed that he would come back to reclaim
the continent, and then the rest of Toril, when the next owners of the continent
brought forth the prophecy. Ao, unable to stop the curse, put a barrier around
the continent, and damned all that lived within to never see the actual lands of
Toril. The Apprentice died, and unknown years later the continent was given two
two mortals who in a freak accident stumbled onto the land, Ao granted them
immortality, and gave them the land.
[ The Prophecy Part Two ]
In the year 1264, The Great Wizard Council, announced a meteor was coming
towards the planet, and they dubbed it RagNaRok. The council then vanished
from the world, and a year later, the meteor appeared. It brought forth
chaos and destruction. It mutated creatures in the realms, in which turned
raided villages and even cities. Fireballs and meteorites fell from Ragnarok,
better known as "The RoK" destroying parts of cities. And then, it all stopped.
A war broke out between the Tripower Nation and the Vectorian Nation. The
Tripower Nation is a large nation that rules over most of the realms and
cities, ran by Nisstyre Bloodstoner, President, and God Of Nightmares. The
Vectorian Nation was north, smaller but an ancient nation built on the world
of Trade, ran by Ganon Vector, bloodline ruler. Vector was trying to take
over trading routes of the Tripower, which provoked war. The war went on
for a few months, when it ended suddenly by the death of Ganon Vector. Kefka,
Head Advisor of Ganon assasinated Ganon with the help of Sephiroth, a well
known evil of the realms. Kefka called peace, and made treaties with the
Tripower to get help. A few months of peace, and Kefka stuck a dagger into
the Tripower's back. Another war wage on, more fierce and at a higher level.
Months of battle crippled the Magitek Army, and then at the end of the year
the gods held a tournament of all armies and clans. The loser were disbanned,
and the Magitek ranked in the bottom.
A meeting was called of all the leaders of the empires of the world. The
meeting held at Red Steel Castle, a well known global meeting place, hosted
by Nisstyre Bloodstoner. Nisstyre informed everyone that the war was pointless
at this time, and Ragnarok was a greater threat. He called on Sephiroth to
explain the true meaning of RagNaRok. Sephiroth explained how Ragnarok was
part of something known as The Prophecy, a self destruction device for elder
gods to purge worlds. Sephiroth explained of the curses, and the dangers of
all of it. That when Ragnarok hits the world, The Apprentice will awaken from
his dead sleep, to reclaim the continent, and then the world. Sephiroth then
explained that He was the message of Ao, that Ao had asked Sephiroth to put
forth the Prophecy, not knowing of the Apprentice's curse would come true
with Ragnarok. He then explained that The Four Elemental Swords of Ragnarok
had the power to stop Ragnarok, when placed in a place known as The Temple Of
Light. The meeting was ended.
The Year of 1268 has been quiet. Only a large plague hit the world, known
as Hemelia, which was cured in only a few months. The world is quiet.

RP-EMPIRES
[ The Empires of the Great Realms ]
In excistant there are Five Major Empires in the world. These empires
rule over varies parts of the world. Below empires are the Factions,
which are smaller township governments. Empires are more known as
super powers in the world. These are the Five Major Empires of the
world, and their general location in the world, and help files.

RP-VECTOR
[ The Empire Of Vector ]
The Vectorian Nation is an older nation, built on a foundation of
world trade. The nation was ruled by a bloodline royal family
called Vector. It's last bloodline ruler was Ganon Vector, who ran
the country down. He declared war on the Tripower in an attempt
to gain ocean trade routes, but his life was cut short when his
assistant Kefka had him assasinated by Sephiroth. Kefka took over
and brought peace.
The Tripower helped out Vector in Kefka's new reign, only to recieve
a knife in the back. Kefka wage a major war on the Tripower, this time
using the Nation's resources to create Magitek Armor, large powerful
metal beasts that ran from the juices of espers. The War Against the
Vectorians, as it was to be known, lasted over a year. In the end,
Vector's Magitek Army fell, and the nation crumbled, in which it remains
as is, today.

RP-SEPHIROTH
[ The Sephirothian Empire ]
Sephiroth's role in the world was at first a mystery. He showed up as
a mortal with great powers, and woundered around the realms speaking with
people, and making sure his power was known. He was seen several times
around the Vectorian Nation, helping Kefka out in certain missions. But
then he took over the winter ice island of Mahn'Tor, enslaving it citizens
and building a Makou Reactor to gather more power.
Sephiroth's organce wasn't known for a long time. At the World Meeting
during The Prophecy, Sephiroth told everyone who he was. He was a World
Mercenary, an immortal who was hired by the elder gods to envoke something
known as A Prophecy, or a Global Purging/Destruction System that wipes
out all life, for elder gods to rebuild a new world. It has also known
that Sephiroth is a priest to a group known as Apprentice Followers. It
is explained that The Apprentice was a god being trained as an elder god,
who went made and put a curse on this land when Ao banished him. Sephiroth
took this job from Ao knowing this, knowing he could awake his lord.
The Sephirothian Nation has a massive army that camps around Sephiroth's
Tower in the snowy fields south of Mahn'Tor City. It is said his army
stretches to the horizons, but Sephiroth has yet entered a war.

One of the leading empires of Technology, The Tripower Empire was
founded many eons ago. Controled by Nightmare God and Father of the
Great Realms, Nisstyre I. Bloodstoner takes the role of President of
this empire, not using his godly powers during his rule. The Tripower
is based in Torregiano, a city northeast of Westbridge and northwest
of New Thalos, better known as The City Of Technology.
Torregiano is a mecca of all kinds of people. The city is split into
nine sectors, and is divided by class. In the northwest parts of the
city are the factories, and at the north is the Sea Port. There are
many things within the city, including the famous Port Torregiano,
The Tripower Complex Tower, The 5000mm Makou Cannon, The Eight Makou
Reactors, and the list goes on.
In recent times the Tripower has fought and won a war with the
Vectorians, and have tried to destroy Ragnarok and save the world.
The Tripower once ruled over the entire land, until recents act
broke the land up and were given to "Factions".

RP-FIGARO
[ The Figaro Nation ]
The Figaro Nation is a large one city desert nation in the far western
parts of the Great Realms, far away from Torregiano and Westbridge on the
opposite side of the continent. Information about this nation is limited,
mainly was is known from travellers.
The Figaro Nation resides in Figaro city, A large island on the edge of
the worlds largest desert in the west. The city is high tech, using
supreme Makou Technology mainly developed by the Tripower. The Metropolis
of Figaro City is massive, with iron streets hundred of feet in the air,
it has the best roads in the world.
The Nation is ran by two brothers, Edgar and Sabin Figaro. The government
is kept on a large castle which stands on a small mountain in the heart of
the city.

RP-HEIFONG
[ The Heifong Nation ]
The Heifong Nation is a one massive city nation in the central part
of the Great Realms. It is a city surrounded by impassable mountains
on all sides. The only access is by airship, which makes Heifong an
airship nation. The city itself is massive, the largest in the world,
split up in a wheel shape sections, each ran by its own government.
Besides the usual empire and democracy governments, it is known that
the majority of rulers are "Pirate Guilds". These guilds are groups
of magic users and mercenaries who rule the trade of today's world.
Nothing else is known of Heifong. (Newest Nation in the world).

RP-RAGNAROK
[ RagNaRok ]
It is known by two names, Ragnarok, and The Rok. Ragnarok is a large
supernatural meteor which floats over the realms, directly above Westbridge.
It is written in the history books that it was announced in the year 1264
that the RoK was coming. It came and reached a distance from the planet
and stopped, and let forth its evil. It has spawn mutant creatures that
have raided Westbridge and other towns. It has destroyed buildings and
the entire City of Ofcol. It is Ragnarok, and it is to be feared.
Ragnarok has been summoned to this realm for a single purpose, being to
purge the realm of all life, for the elder gods to restart a new world.
The Elder God of Ao summoned the Ragnarok as part of something known
as A Prophecy [Help Rp-Prophecy] which is like a global self destruction
process. Ao hired the Mercenary Sephiroth to carry out the destruction
of the world. [Help RP-CHARACTERS]
From the RoK Four Swords known as the Four Elemental Swords of Ragnarok were gathered in the year 1264. These swords contained powers beyond

RP-PROPHECY
The Prophecy (RP Terms): A Continent Purging Self Destruct Plan, usually
known as a prophecy, in which an ancient plan is put into affect to purge
the world of all life and things, but can be stopped. Only used by the
Elder Gods, usually used when evil overuns good.
[ The Prophecy Of The Great Realms ]
When put into affect, a supernatural force in the form of a meteor will
appear, and proceed to smash into the planet, in which will set off a
chain of events that will purge the lands clean. This meteor can be
stopped by Four Elemental Swords, forged from the very rock of the meteor.
When the swords are placed in The Temple Of Light, the being that places
all four swords will be granted a wish, a wish powerful enough to wish
away Ragnarok, stopping the Prophecy.
[ How The Prophecy Has Played Out So Far ]
In the year 1264 Great Realms time, A Wizard Council announced a meteor
coming. The wizard council vanished, and a year later a meteor appeared,
dubbed RagNaRok. The meteor mutated animals and other creatures, in which
raided and destroyed towns and villages. Meteorites fell from the meteor
destroying buildings and city blocks. Soon the meteor reached closed enough
for wizards to fly to it. On the rok they found a temple with four elemental
beasts inside. A group of heros fought all the monsters, and won the swords
they wielded. The Four Swords of Ragnarok where then spread to the winds.
Ragnarok soon fell silent for a year or so.
A war wage on, and was stopped by a meeting, calling all the leaders of the
world to speak on the threat known as Ragnarok. There Sephiroth, a well known
immortal tied in with Ragnarok, spoke the truth. He explained the prophecy
of the Great Realms, and a curse placed by someone known as The Apprentice.
He explained how he was Ao's Messanger, to deliver the Prophecy and make sure
it happens as planned. He explained that he controled Ragnarok. Sephiroth
ended his speech and left. The leaders spoke of what they would do, and the
meeting ended.
The Four Swords have been passed on between many people. Most of their
locations unknown. It is known that Keldon discovered one in the Crypt
of Despair, and that several clans hold a sword or two. They are a rare
item, which some search out for treasure, value and looks. The Temple of
Light is still undiscovered, and the Four Swords to be joined.

[ The Four Swords of Ragnarok ]
In excistant there are Four Swords of Ragnarok, forged from the very
ore of the RoK, and once held by the Ragnarok Elemental Beasts. In
the year 1265 Ragnarok became close enough to the world for wizards
and other things that could fly to reach it. On the surface they
found an archway leading into the RoK itself. Inside was a chamber
with four doors, each holding an elemental beast. The group murdered
the beasts and stole the swords, which from that very point, were
scattered to the winds.
Sephiroth spoke of the legend and what the swords did. Each sword
contained raw power, which if used correctly can give the user great
power, just with a single sword. When the four swords are joined
together and used, the force is undescribable. The swords also act
like a key, used in the Temple of Light. It is said that these swords
open up a doorway to place that can grant wishes.
It is known that the swords excist mainly in mortal hands, but a god
or two also has collected one. The powers of the swords must be unlocked
for the user to gain it powers, that has yet to happen. The Four Swords
have yet to be placed in a single room since the day they were taken.
The Temple of Light itself, although searches have been made, its location
still remains unknown.

[ Great Realms History ]
The Great Realm has alot of history, about 1263 years of made up history, and
then Four Years of actual RP history. Instead of writing a large help file,
it is split into a Time Line, which is kept up to date.
